Solvar Limited: Australian Lending Growth Supports FY26 Resilience
Solvar Limited (ASX: SVR) reported a resilient FY26 performance, with its Australian lending operations offsetting the impact of the continued wind-down of its New Zealand business. The Australian gross loan book increased 10.5% to AU$920.3 million, while new lending rose 21.0% to AU$470.7 million. Commercial lending also gained traction, with Bennji reaching a gross loan book of AU$49.7 million.
Normalised net profit after tax increased 7.5% to AU$36.1 million, while statutory NPAT declined 6.2% to AU$29.5 million. Normalised EPS rose 14.7% to 19.0 cents per share. Solvar also declared total fully franked FY26 dividends of 19.5 cents per share, including special dividends, highlighting its capital management focus.
The company enters FY27 with Strategy 2030 centred on expanding commercial lending, improving productivity, strengthening digital capabilities and enhancing customer experience. With funding capacity of AU$1.09 billion and more than AU$400 million of available headroom, Solvar aims to support further growth while maintaining disciplined risk management.
