ActivEX Uncovers High-Grade Gold and Silver Targets at Georgetown Project
ActivEX Limited (ASX: AIV) has reported encouraging exploration results from its Georgetown Project in Queensland, identifying several high-grade gold, silver and base metal targets through surface rock sampling. A total of 39 rock samples were analysed, with standout assays including 14.4 g/t gold and 150 g/t silver at the Comet Prospect in Bridle Creek, alongside 221 g/t silver and 5.81 g/t gold at the Tambo–Mountain Creek Prospect in Leichardt Creek. Additional strong gold intersections were also recorded at the Stockman and Cleanskin Creek prospects.
The results have highlighted multiple priority exploration areas, prompting the company to advance its 2026–27 exploration program. Planned activities include further geochemical surveys, geological mapping, ground-based geophysical studies and reverse circulation drilling to better define mineralised zones. Management believes these targets warrant detailed follow-up, particularly where transported sand cover may conceal broader mineralisation, strengthening the project's exploration potential.
