Charter Hall Social Infrastructure REIT Delivers Robust FY26 Performance
Charter Hall Social Infrastructure REIT (ASX: CQE) delivered a strong FY26 performance, driven by disciplined portfolio management, earnings growth, and strategic investments in high-quality social infrastructure assets. Operating earnings and distributions increased on the back of resilient rental income, while net tangible assets also strengthened during the year. The REIT expanded its portfolio through selective acquisitions in the healthcare and education sectors and streamlined its asset base by divesting selected early learning properties, improving overall portfolio quality and income resilience.
The portfolio continued to demonstrate defensive characteristics with high occupancy, long lease terms, and consistent rental growth, supported by prudent capital management and a well-balanced balance sheet. Looking ahead, management expects further growth in operating earnings and distributions in FY27, underpinned by favourable demographic trends, sustained demand for essential social infrastructure assets, and continued execution of its long-term investment strategy.
