Lincoln Minerals Confirms Minbrie Copper Potential with Follow-Up Drilling Planned
Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX: LML) has strengthened the exploration outlook for its Minbrie Copper Project on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula after its maiden air core drilling program confirmed that mineralisation at the Eagle Ridge prospect continues up dip. Despite challenging groundwater conditions preventing several drill holes from reaching their intended depth, the campaign successfully validated the company’s geological model, improved its understanding of basement geology, and reinforced confidence in the broader copper and base metals system. The company completed 25 air core holes across 1,632 metres and plans to commence targeted diamond drilling at Eagle Ridge in the fourth quarter of CY2026 to evaluate mineralisation at depth and along strike.
The latest results build on historical drilling that identified significant copper and base metal mineralisation, including approximately 1.7 kilometres of untested strike at Eagle Ridge within the project’s 17-kilometre prospective corridor. Lincoln intends to integrate the new drilling data with existing geophysical and geochemical datasets to refine exploration targets. With a well-capitalised balance sheet and a diversified South Australian project portfolio, the company remains focused on advancing Minbrie while assessing the broader exploration potential across its copper, graphite, magnetite, and uranium assets.
