Carnaby Resources Advances Greater Duchess with Strong Copper-Gold Drill Results
Carnaby Resources Limited (ASX: CNB) reported final drilling results from its Greater Duchess Copper Gold Project in Queensland, reinforcing the potential of the Miniboom and Trek 1 discoveries. At Miniboom, drilling confirmed shallow mineralisation, including 20m at 2.2% CuEq and 12m at 2.3% CuEq. The lode has a high-grade strike extent of less than 70m but remains open at depth, supporting further resource evaluation.
At Trek 1, drilling returned 88.6m at 1.2% CuEq, including 35.6m at 1.8% CuEq. Another hole intersected 38m at 1.9% CuEq, including 15m at 3.2% CuEq, highlighting a broad mineralised zone that remains open down plunge.
Carnaby is incorporating the latest results into updated Mineral Resource Estimates. Meanwhile, the proposed acquisition by Evolution Mining could support Greater Duchess’ development through integration with the nearby Ernest Henry operations and existing processing infrastructure.
