Zeotech Partners with VINCI Construction to Advance AusPozz™ in Low-Carbon Concrete
Zeotech Limited (ASX: ZEO) has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global engineering and construction major VINCI Construction. The collaboration will focus on concrete trials and demonstrations using Zeotech’s AusPozz™ high-reactivity metakaolin. Zeotech will supply agreed quantities of AusPozz™, provide technical assistance, and exchange trial data with VINCI Construction to evaluate its use in lower-carbon concrete applications.
The planned trials aim to validate AusPozz™ as a high-performance supplementary cementitious material capable of lowering concrete’s binder requirements and embodied carbon while remaining compatible with modern production systems. Trial outcomes will help identify potential opportunities for future commercial engagement and support Zeotech’s broader commercialisation strategy.
AusPozz™ is produced from Zeotech’s wholly owned Toondoon kaolin resource in Queensland. Independent testing has demonstrated cement replacement rates of up to 40%, alongside improved strength, durability and reduced shrinkage.
