LPE Accelerates Embedded Energy Expansion with Strategic PowerHub Acquisition
Locality Planning Energy Holdings Limited (ASX: LPE) has agreed to acquire 100% of PowerHub Pty Ltd, strengthening its embedded network business and expanding into Tasmania and South Australia. PowerHub brings up to 76 sites and 4,642 service points, including 30 active sites with 1,697 active service points, 187 contracted service points, and a pipeline of 46 sites comprising 2,758 service points. The transaction represents an 18.9% increase in LPE’s sites and an 11.6% increase in service points.
The acquisition carries total consideration of up to AU$5.803 million, with AU$2.8 million payable at completion from existing cash reserves. Remaining payments are contingent on pipeline service points being activated within five years. Settlement is expected on 13 August 2026, while the integration and transitional handover are targeted for completion by 30 September 2026. The transaction supports LPE’s strategy of scaling its recurring-revenue embedded network platform through disciplined acquisitions and contracted development opportunities.
