Sequoia Financial Group Limited (ASX: SEQ) has announced the revocation of its previously declared fully franked interim dividend of $0.01 per ordinary share. The dividend was originally determined on 23 February 2026 for the half-year ended 31 December 2025, but payment had been repeatedly deferred, most recently to 26 August 2026.
The decision follows continuing Federal Court proceedings and related claims before the Australian Financial Complaints Authority concerning InterPrac Financial Planning Pty Ltd. Sequoia’s Board said its immediate focus is on responsible capital management, addressing the outstanding legal matters and reducing business risks for shareholders. The company stated that revoking the dividend is considered to be in shareholders’ best interests while these issues remain unresolved. Sequoia also confirmed that it will continue providing market updates in line with its continuous disclosure obligations.
