Element 25 Strengthens Butcherbird Expansion with Long-Term Manganese Sales Agreement
Element 25 Limited (ASX: E25) has secured a binding long-term sales agreement with OM Materials, reinforcing the commercial outlook for its Butcherbird Manganese Project in Western Australia. Under the arrangement, OM Materials will purchase manganese concentrate produced from the Butcherbird Expansion Project, providing a dependable revenue pathway as the company targets production of approximately 1.1 million tonnes per annum. The agreement features an initial five-year term with the potential for a further five-year extension and includes market-based pricing, take-or-pay provisions and staged payment terms to enhance cash flow visibility. Importantly, the contract retains flexibility for Element 25 to allocate material toward its planned battery-grade high-purity manganese sulphate (HPMSM) business. Management expects the agreement to strengthen financing discussions, lower project execution risk and support the next phase of development. The company continues progressing construction activities, with mechanical completion and commissioning of the expansion project targeted for the first quarter of calendar 2027.
