FireFly Delivers More High-Grade Copper-Gold Results as Green Bay Advances Toward Resource Upgrade
FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX: FFM) has reported another strong batch of high-grade drilling results from its Green Bay Copper-Gold Project in Canada, reinforcing the quality and continuity of mineralisation ahead of an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). The latest intersections include 11.5 metres at 13.2% copper equivalent (11.1% copper and 2.1g/t gold), together with several additional high-grade copper-gold zones expected to support the early years of a potential production restart. Ongoing infill drilling is focused on upgrading Inferred Resources into the higher-confidence Measured and Indicated category, strengthening the foundation for future mine planning and a maiden Ore Reserve targeted before the end of 2026. Six underground drilling rigs remain focused on resource conversion activities, while three surface rigs continue regional exploration, including the maiden drilling campaign at Tilt Cove. With approximately AU$196.4 million in cash and liquid investments as at 30 June 2026, FireFly remains well funded to progress economic studies, permitting, early development works and continued exploration across the Green Bay district.
