Kincora Copper Accelerates Australian Exploration and Strengthens Financial Position
Kincora Copper Limited (ASX: KCC) advanced its Australian exploration portfolio during the June 2026 quarter, supported by partner-funded and independently financed programs. Drilling with AngloGold Ashanti continued at Nevertire South, where exploration is focused on identifying significant copper-gold porphyry systems.
At the wholly owned Condobolin project, Kincora completed a nine-hole drilling campaign, representing the first systematic drilling undertaken across the historic mineral field in more than a decade. Assay results from the program remain pending.
The company also improved its financial flexibility by agreeing to sell its Mongolian assets for US$10 million. Of this amount, US$5 million has been received, while another US$5 million is expected before year-end. Kincora currently holds approximately A$12 million in cash.
Meanwhile, geological and AI-supported evaluations at Fairholme, Cowal East and Trundle have identified additional exploration targets, supporting potential partnerships and future drilling programs.
