L1 Group Expands Alternatives Platform Through PXC Advisors Joint Venture
L1 Group Limited (ASX: L1G) has launched PXC Advisors, a specialist global long-short investment manager established through a 50/50 joint venture with former L1 Capital investor Dr Andrew Lin. The partnership represents L1 Group’s first new investment venture since the L1 Capital Catalyst Fund was launched in 2021 and supports its strategy of building specialist investment businesses through seed capital, institutional infrastructure and global distribution capabilities. PXC Advisors’ Dynamic Return Strategy has operated since January 2024 using capital from L1 Capital founders and employees, generating an annualised return of 51% net of fees through 31 July 2026. The strategy will open to external investors in September 2026 and focuses on identifying mispriced securities arising from significant business and industry inflection points. PXC Advisors will also assume management of the Platinum International Technology Fund portfolio from 14 September 2026, further broadening the venture’s initial investment platform.
