Microequities Asset Management Faces FY26 Earnings Pressure as FUM Declines
Microequities Asset Management Group Limited (ASX: MAM) recorded a modest improvement in FY26 revenue, which increased 1.5% to AU$12.73 million. However, profit attributable to shareholders fell 20.1% to AU$5.71 million, reflecting a more challenging operating environment.
Funds under management contracted 15% to AU$517.1 million, primarily due to weaker valuations across small and microcap investments. This contributed to a 5% decline in recurring revenue to AU$10.24 million, while performance fee income decreased 37% to AU$2.30 million.
Despite softer profitability, MAM retained a healthy financial position, with net assets of AU$23.15 million and cash of AU$3.81 million at FY26-end. The Board announced a fully franked final dividend of AU$0.01 per share. Looking ahead, the Group intends to broaden its product offering through a new domestic industrial and resources fund while developing its private credit strategy further.
