White Energy Commences Drilling at Specimen Hill Copper Gold Project in Central Queensland.

White Energy Company Limited (ASX: WEC) has launched a core-drilling program at its 51%-owned Specimen Hill Project near Biloela, Central Queensland, through its subsidiary Amerod Resources Pty Ltd. The program targets multiple induced polarisation (IP), magnetic, and geochemical anomalies, while also verifying previous gold and copper drilling results. The region is highly prospective, featuring widespread copper-bearing outcrops and historical intercepts indicating significant mineralisation potential.

Initial drilling is focused on the Mt Rainbow area within MDL 313 and the Mt Walturn area in EPM 28296, where previous surveys identified a strong 2,500 nT magnetic anomaly. The campaign, expected to run for approximately six weeks, aims to enhance geological understanding and define mineralisation types to guide future exploration. White Energy anticipates that results will strengthen the project’s potential for copper and gold discoveries across its priority target zones.
