Killi Launches Major Drilling Programme to Expand Premium Iron Ore Resource
Killi Resources Limited (ASX: KLI) has commenced its maiden drilling campaign at the Lodestone Iron Ore Project in Western Australia, targeting the expansion and upgrade of the existing 110 million tonne JORC Inferred Mineral Resource. The programme comprises up to 20,000 metres of reverse circulation and diamond drilling across the Lodestone system, with exploration focused on extending mineralisation beyond the current five-kilometre resource footprint within a prospective 25-kilometre corridor. The campaign will also provide metallurgical samples to support ongoing testwork aimed at producing a high-purity direct reduction-grade iron ore concentrate. In parallel, the Company is undertaking geological mapping, surface sampling and a drone-based magnetic survey to identify additional mineralised zones and refine future drill targets. Assay results are expected progressively as drilling advances, with multiple resource updates anticipated over the coming quarters as Killi continues advancing the Lodestone Project.
