Right Resources Advances Blue Tungsten Project with Encouraging Metallurgical Results
Right Resources Limited (ASX: RRE) has reported encouraging preliminary metallurgical testwork from the Blue tungsten prospect in New South Wales, with Heavy Liquid Separation (HLS) producing a high-grade tungsten sink product under laboratory conditions. The strongest outcome was achieved at a crush size below 1.0 mm, delivering a 66.5% WO₃ product and an indicative tungsten recovery of 81.6%. These findings suggest the mineralisation could respond well to a gravity-based processing route, although the company emphasised that the results are based on laboratory testing and require larger-scale validation before any commercial conclusions can be drawn.
Mineralogical analysis identified scheelite as the primary tungsten-bearing mineral within a quartz-dominant host rock, while the absence of significant carbonate minerals or sulphides may simplify future processing studies. Right Resources will now continue flotation and magnetic characterisation work, collect a larger representative sample for gravity validation, and complete a comprehensive metallurgical report during the second half of 2026. In parallel, preparations remain on track for a planned 3,000-metre geochemical drilling program at the Blue Prospect in Q3–Q4 2026, supporting the project's ongoing exploration and development strategy.
