Tivan Strengthens Funding Strategy for Speewah Fluorite Development
Tivan Limited (ASX: TVN) has taken another step toward financing its Speewah Fluorite Project in Western Australia, with Japan Australia Fluorite Associates appointing ICA Natural Resources to support the debt funding process. The advisory firm will assist with financing structure, transaction planning and execution, drawing on its expertise across resources and critical minerals projects.
The Speewah development is being progressed through a joint venture involving Tivan, Sumitomo Corporation and the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security. A Definitive Feasibility Study is expected to be completed later in 2026, supporting plans to establish an Australian operation producing acid-grade fluorspar.
Tivan has also strengthened the project’s funding position through agreements with Sumitomo Corporation and ETFS Capital Limited for up to AU$100 million in equity funding. Additionally, financing discussions have progressed with Export Finance Australia and the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility, supporting the project’s pathway toward a Final Investment Decision.
