Develop Global Advances Yitirrti Project with AU$275 million EPC Contract
Develop Global Limited (ASX: DVP) has awarded a AU$275 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to GR Engineering Services Limited for the processing plant at its Yitirrti copper-silver-zinc project in Western Australia. The 1.5Mtpa facility will produce separate copper-silver and zinc concentrates, while the project’s total capital requirement is estimated at AU$450 million.
Construction remains on schedule, with access roads and earthworks well advanced and underground development progressing ahead of schedule. The company expects to commence concentrate output from Yitirrti during the June quarter of 2028. The project is expected to deliver a 37% internal rate of return with a 23-month payback period.
Funding will combine Develop’s Trafigura-backed US$400 million debt facility, available cash and operating cash flows. With Woodlawn operating at steady-state rates and Pioneer Dome lithium sales approaching, Yitirrti could further strengthen Develop’s production base and future cash-flow profile.
