JB Hi-Fi Delivers Record FY26 Sales as Earnings Rise and Shareholder Returns Strengthen
JB Hi-Fi Limited (ASX: JBH) delivered a solid FY26 result, with record total sales reaching AU$11.06 billion, up 4.8% year-on-year, while underlying EBIT increased 3.8% to AU$734.4 million. NPAT attributable to shareholders rose 2.9% on an underlying basis to AU$489.9 million, supported by resilient demand and disciplined execution across the Group. JB Hi-Fi Australia remained the core earnings contributor, generating AU$7.42 billion in sales and AU$547.3 million in EBIT, while The Good Guys delivered 6.0% EBIT growth and margin expansion. New Zealand continued its strong growth trajectory, with sales increasing 26.0% to NZ$499.5 million and EBIT turning positive at NZ$4.1 million. The Group maintained a debt-free balance sheet excluding lease liabilities, closing FY26 with AU$206.5 million in net cash. Shareholder returns strengthened materially, with the total ordinary dividend increasing 22.5% to 337 cents per share, representing 75% of NPAT.
