Iress Posts Stronger 1H26 Profit as Cost Efficiencies Lift Margins
Iress Limited (ASX: IRE) reported a notable improvement in profitability for 1H26, supported by tighter cost control and stronger operational execution. Statutory net profit after tax surged 85.0% to AU$32.0 million, while underlying profit after tax advanced 18.4% to AU$38.8 million. Cash EBITDA reached AU$61.1 million, accompanied by an expansion in the Cash EBITDA margin to 24.5%.
On a constant-currency basis, continuing business revenue grew 2.5%, while recurring revenue increased 3.4% to AU$237.8 million, highlighting the resilience of the company’s core operations.
Iress has also achieved AU$31.5 million in annualised cost efficiencies and declared a fully franked interim dividend of 14.0 cents per share. Looking ahead, the company expects FY26 reported revenue of AU$499–AU$505 million and Cash EBITDA of AU$119–AU$124 million, while targeting a 25% Cash EBITDA margin exit run-rate.
