The Calmer Co Secures Global Kava Distribution Agreement with Minimum Purchases of AU$25 Million
The Calmer Co. International Limited (ASX: CCO) has entered an exclusive distribution agreement with a multinational ingredients company, establishing a global sales channel for its kava extract ingredients. The distributor receives exclusive rights across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and ASEAN markets, conditional on satisfying agreed annual purchase volumes. Minimum purchase commitments total approximately AU$25 million across the initial three-year term, including approximately AU$5.5 million in the first year before increasing in subsequent years. The arrangement can be extended through two additional three-year terms, subject to purchase and payment requirements. It covers water-extracted and CO2-extracted Noble Kava products and complements CCO’s existing wholesale customer relationships. The agreement strengthens the company’s Wholesale (Bulk Ingredients) strategy by connecting its expanding Pacific sourcing and manufacturing network with an established international distribution channel. CCO expects existing specialist extraction partners in Australia and India, alongside additional capability being developed in Fiji, to support anticipated volumes under the agreement.
