Mount Hope Mining Secures AU$1.82 million Strategic Placement to Accelerate Gold Exploration
Mount Hope Mining Limited (ASX: MHM) has secured commitments for an AU$1.82 million strategic placement at AU$0.145 per share, including backing from Ronin Metals and existing shareholders. Ronin Metals, associated with experienced Western Australian gold explorers Simon Lawson, Craig Jones and David Coyne, will become a substantial shareholder. The placement price represents a 2.8% premium to the 15-day VWAP, while the funding is expected to strengthen MHM’s balance sheet and accelerate exploration across the broader Mount Hope Project.
The investment coincides with the commencement of Phase 3 drilling at the Mt Solitary Gold prospect, targeting extensions of known mineralisation. Ronin Metals is expected to hold 11.9% of MHM following completion and will gain board nomination rights while maintaining at least a 10% holding. Mt Solitary forms part of the approximately 7.5-kilometre MS2 Gold Corridor, offering further exploration potential along strike and at depth.
