Highlights:

  • Minerals 260 has unveiled a multi-pronged exploration strategy targeting resource growth, regional discoveries and production readiness at Bullabulling.
  • The company plans drilling across high-priority targets while advancing mine development activities ahead of its targeted 2028 production timeline.

Minerals 260 Limited (ASX: MI6) gained investor attention on Monday after outlining the next phase of exploration at its flagship Bullabulling Gold Project in Western Australia. The company’s latest strategy is designed to expand its existing mineral resource, unlock new regional opportunities and strengthen preparations for future production, reinforcing its long-term development plans.A Three-Pronged Growth StrategyMinerals 260 said its exploration program will focus on three priorities—resource growth, regional exploration and production readiness. Resource drilling will target near-surface mineralisation and strike extensions between the Kraken deposit and the recently acquired Endeavour Prospect, while additional drilling is planned north of the Dicksons deposit where geological trends remain largely underexplored.

The company also intends to test down-dip extensions of the existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), where mineralisation remains open. Historical drilling at the Endeavour Prospect has already returned

encouraging gold intercepts, supporting the potential for future resource additions.Looking Beyond Existing ResourcesBeyond expanding known deposits, Minerals 260 has commenced regional exploration across its 1,160-square-kilometre tenure package. The program combines geochemical surveys, historical datasets, geological interpretation and geophysical analysis to identify and prioritise new drill targets that could support long-term resource growth. The company has also identified higher-grade trends within the existing resource by integrating drilling results, structural interpretation and historical mining information. These zones could enhance future mining plans and potentially improve the project's early production profile.Preparing for ProductionAlongside exploration, Minerals 260 continues advancing development activities. The company has completed a 26,000-metre grade control drilling campaign at the Phoenix deposit to refine geological interpretation and strengthen mine planning ahead of future operations. Additional grade control campaigns are scheduled over the next two years as the company targets the commencement of production in late 2028.

Bullabulling currently hosts a JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate of 190 million tonnes at 1.0g/t gold for 6.2 million ounces, positioning it among Australia's significant undeveloped gold projects. With exploration expanding and production planning progressing in parallel, the company is aiming to strengthen the project's long-term development potential.Note- All data presented is based on information available at the time of writing.Disclaimer for Kapitales ResearchThe materials provided by Kapitales Research, including articles, news, data, reports, opinions, images, charts, and videos ("Content"), are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
